Mandatory Process

Biometric Registration Guide

Since 2024, all Chardham helicopter passengers must complete biometric registration before boarding.

Important Notice

Without biometric registration, you will NOT be allowed to board the helicopter, regardless of your booking status. This is a Government of Uttarakhand mandate effective from the 2024 Yatra season onwards.

1. Get Aadhaar + Photo ID

Your original Aadhaar card and one more government photo ID (PAN, Passport, Driving License). Ensure names match across all documents.

💡 Tip: Marriage certificates help if name has changed.

2. Report to Helipad Counter

Arrive at the designated helipad at least 90 minutes before departure. Locate the Biometric Registration Counter (usually near check-in).

💡 Tip: Carry both digital and printed copies of your booking confirmation.

3. Biometric Capture

Your fingerprints and live photograph will be captured by UCADA-authorized staff. This takes approximately 2-3 minutes per person.

💡 Tip: Clean and dry your fingers for faster scanning.

4. Receive PNR + Boarding Pass

After biometric verification, you'll receive your PNR confirmation and official boarding pass with QR code. Do NOT lose this.

💡 Tip: Take a photo of the boarding pass as backup.
